Paediatric First Aid
There are a variety of Paediatric First Aid Courses available, online courses are suitable for Families and Parents and anyone who wants to learn how to deal with an emergency situation involving an infant or young child.
Professionals who work with children have a responsibility to ensure that they the skills to enable them to respond to any emergency situation should it arrise and the 6 hour and 12 hour courses are designed to suit their needs.
There are two courses for professionals available, the 12 Hour 2 Day Paediatric First Aid Course which is designed for Child Minders and Playgroup leaders and the 6 Hour course which is suitable for Nannies and Baby Sitters.
There are options for your training dependent on the level of training you require, all of the courses below have been designed to meet the recommendations of OFSTED, SureStart and the EYFS.

12 Hour Paediatric First Aid Courses - For Playgroup leaders and Childminders
The 12 Hour Paediatric course is designed for Childminders, Playgroup leaders and those whose profession involves the care of infants and children. The course is 12 hours spread over two days as a classroom course, or if you prefer you choose the blended course, this allows you to complete all of the theoretical part of the course online at a time to suit you, the course involves watching a series of short video segments, answering questions and passing the short test, you then book the second day of your course with a ProTrainings registered instructor to complete all of the hands on practical side of the course.
Both courses are designed to cover all of the required topics to meet the recommendations set out by OFSTED, SureStart and the EYFS.
